Just not sure…

Hey Gang! Welcome to my life, where anything is possible and nothing is as it seems. I’m The Rev. Matt and I’ll be your host – coming at you from within the depths of Geistopia. Welcome to my Life is a project, an experiment in Life and ART. A living storyboard, if you will. It’s premise is that life is experiential and that you can, and do, experience the life you choose. it is based on the use of The Wheel of Life and The ARTs for the New Millennium as life building tools. Welcome to my Life is an ITV Studios/Geist…House production. JustUs Productions, the parent company, would like to give a ‘Shout-Out’ to the following for their ongoing, and oft times unknowing, inspiration and support: Princess Cuddlebug Princess Sunshine Craze & Co. Following Up

Sept. 19, 2011; 0904 My problem is I can never seem to write everything that is on my mind at one time. Not only does my mind jump from topic to topic to frequently, but, the simple fact of the matter is, I would write for days straight. LOL. **UPDATE 2** I did forget to update, and it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t, the dinner situation last night. After everything was cleaned up and everyone had gone on their way, I was eventually invited to have the dish of food left on the stove. I wrote yesterday: It’s All Just Perspective There is an area of my life where my perspective seems to be very different than that of those around me. Ok…more than one, but let’s just focus on this one for now. It all revolves around my daughters. Mama was upset that I had discussed a possible job with them without knowing, for certain, if I had it. She was upset because Princess Sunshine got upset because the job would have me on the road 8 days at a time. My friend agreed with Mama on this poin

"It's Not A Mission Statement...It's A Memo..."

Someone PLEEEASE Interpret This....

Before I delve into the negativity and frustration of this post I need to add something to my positive list that I had forgotten earlier. (I believe there are two but I can only recall one in this particular moment): A game yesterday. A game that Makayla has been waiting on for some time. We used to play it together when Nyssa was younger and taking naps. Then, when Mama took the other computer, that had stopped. When I tried to install it on this laptop there were problems with the Disc. Yesterday the replacement finally came and the game runs perfectly. Mak will be so thrilled. So, there are two areas in my life where I am consistently and constantly being told that I am nothing but an asshole/prick. It seems no matter how I try to handle myself, the moment I speak how I feel I am being difficult and an asshole. One area is my family and one is mama. This is what I was seeking with my earlier post about insight, even if I wasn't completely clear on that. Since there are n

You've Got To Ac-cent-uate The Positive

With all of the chaos of the past several days/posts, I thought it might be a good side step to stop a moment and take a look at all the good things. I had wanted to do this post last night but it just didn't work out that way. So, I am going to write about yesterday as if it still were yesterday. (Does that make sense?) So here all the good things of the day (9/13/2011): It was an absolutely gorgeous day. Bright sun, warm day, beautiful skies. I have my health - despite any issues there may be, I have my health. I was able to get some work in today, earn some money. I found flexibility in my schedule. The flexibility I enjoy so much. And, with a clear head I may find more and be able to manage things quite well for at least a week or two. Moving backwards another day, I was blessed enough to once again see the Principle Ask & Ye Shall Receive in action. I went to sleep Sunday night wondering how I would manage until Wednesday, until I saw more money. I awoke Monday to

"I Don't Know How You Can Stand It"

Or, as it was put in another way today, “how can you live the life you do?” Some days I’m not so sure myself how I can stand it or live the life I do. But, if I need to be introspective on it the answer becomes quite clear. I can do it because… It is as it is. And, I can write here, without any doubt or hesitation, that it is the life that God intended for me. That is what gets me through each day no matter what the day may put before me. Even today. Today brought what I knew would eventually come. I just don’t know that I expected it quite so soon. You see, when I conveyed my story yesterday about the van and my father I left out a very important point. I was damned if I did…and damned if I didn’t. If I kept my mouth shut and let my father follow through with his intentions, which I learned today were more than to just look at the van, it would have eventually and inevitably come back to bite me in the ass. As I pointed out yesterday, this conclusion is based on previous experi
