Saturday, June 23, 2012 1946 Dusk New Moon(feel like we've been in it forever.) Still battling the occasional headache - left side temple (still convinced it stems from dental problems.) Overall contentedness So, I am sitting at The Works in Reading and thought I would try to steal another moment to journal as the girls play. It has been a most wonderful vacation. Sadly, tomorrow it comes to an end. Whenever we have time like this - time to focus on each other as opposed to 47 hr weekends that fly by way to fast, or 3 hr Tuesday night dinners that seem almost non-existent - it makes me 'wish' for more. I would love to have good solid time with the girls each and every week to play with them and teach them and help them grow into the beautiful young ladies that I know they will be. But, for now, such is not the case. But, always better to focus on the 'haves' instead of the 'have-nots'. Isn't that how the riddle and rhyme went a week or so ago? "i

Friday, June 22, 2012 1855 Mix of rain and sun all day Coming out of the new moon(I used to be so good with my Phases.) Suffering headaches for past few days(most likely stemming from oral problems.) Tense and worried; Confused and concerned So very often life can leave us in a world of 'in-betweens'. Vacation week is almost over. It has been absolutely extraordinary and I don't want it to end. And yet it must - for so many reasons (barring the obvious.) Then there is the Quest. This is not shaping up anywhere near the way I thought it would. In fact, despite my efforts, it seems to be working quite the opposite. Today was the real kicker. I received my pay today - the last before I leave. It is barely enough to get me through the week let alone set out across the country. ...and yet again, here we are 13 hours later. Lol. I'm kind of glad though. It is what it is. Tuesday, June 19, 2012 1000 New Moon (blue moon, what ya gonna do moon) Overcast (had rained) Strangely well-rested Nicotine Cravings (may still succumb) Peaceful, but hazy (much like the sky) I have been wanting to sit and write since...well, the last time I sat and wrote. Life has been a whirlwind since the Princesses arrived. The first three days were strange in and of themselves. Friday we tried to get everyone acclimated to the week and settled into their lives. Saturday we had a yard sale in the morning, including a home-made lemonade stand... ...and here I am 13 1/2 hrs later. What started as a very quiet and slow day quickly bolted to the opposite end of the spectrum. This is the first moment I have truly had all day to be with my thoughts and myself. I think at this point it may be true confession time... I AM SCARED SHITLESS ABOUT THIS TRIP I have such a knot of anticipation in my gut. (Deep breath.) I don't think it is fear of anything bad happening.

Thursday, June 14, 2012 0722 Waning Moon Sunny but cool Feeling a bit energized and 'Charged' Rested and content, but hungry. I didn't get a chance to write last night, but I think that's ok. Morning times are always a better time to write anyway. I'm not sure why that was. I was absolutely correct. There was no point in getting up and trying yesterday. I got up. I got about an hour and a half into trying and then I realized just where the day was headed. Overall, it was pretty good. It just leaves me with a whole lotta hustle over the next two days. I had an abundant night. I am very glad of this. And, have said, "Thank You," about 100 times already. The Dragon is 100% complete. She has turned out to be a bit more powerful than I had originally understood. I have had several very strong, and deep, meditations with her. Today should be interesting. A lot of work. Tuesday, June 12, 2012 (still strikes me as an interesting number combination.) 2241 Rainy Waning Moon (suddenly explains so much.) Content/Chill Body's funny today. (Still the eternal sacral domain.) Once again the day was nothing as I would have (or had) planned it. And yet, once again, it was perfect as it was. Tuesday, June 12, 2012 If the 'Quest' truly has begun then it is time to take the first important step. It is time to write. For... On the 'journey' it is best to 'journal'. People often ask me how I 'know'. How do I know I need to take this quest? How do I know that's the answer? How do I know I'm 'right'? Notes. Many years of taking notes. (and the key to that last one is "...for me.") The Art of Journaling came to me on the Northern Quest. It was actually an exercise in a book that I had taken with me - Journal every morning for 90 days. Of course, I was no stranger to note taking at that time either.
